Like her grandmother, Jessica wants to go to Paris to seek her fortune. Hired to work in a café in Rue Montaigne, one of the capital's chic neighbourhoods, Jessica meets many celebrities who, despite being brilliant, are exhausted and bored with their fame and ‘grandeur'. There's a popular actress who can't stand her image and dreams of escaping to the community reparatory theatre to play Simone de Beauvoir. A famous pianist who feels more and more stifled by the luxurious lifestyle that separates him from life's true values. An art collector who in order to better breathe, chucks his memories at auctions. Here are three characters whose paths cross one evening: three characters who find themselves at a bar in the same café face to face with a petite waitress whose smile and innocence comforts them all.
