OSS
117, Le Caire nid d'espions |

Egypt, 1955: Cairo is a
total spy ring. Everyone is suspicious of everyone else, everyone
is plotting against everyone else: English, French, Soviets, the
family of deposed King Farouk, who wants to reclaim the throne,
and the Kheops Eagles, a religious sect that wants to take power.
René Coty, the President of the French Republic, sends his master
weapon to establish law and order in this bedlam on the edge of
chaos: Hubert Bonisseur de la Bath, known as OSS 117.
Author Jean Bruce's character OSS 117 first saw print in 1949,
four years before Bond, and eventually figured in 265 novels. The
French secret agent appeared in seven movies between 1956 and 1970,
incarnated by a variety of actors including Ivan Desny, Kerwin
Mathews and Frederick Stafford.
Jean Dujardin plays title character OSS 117 as a kind of James Bond
crossed with Maxwell Smart. Sparkling production design, a jubilantly
retro score and a genuine flair for using the film and TV vocabulary
of the '60s to revisit colonial arrogance put the film in the same
conceptual ballpark as Austin Powers or “The Naked Gun” series.

而自 1956 年至 1970 年間,法國共製作了七部特務片。尚.杜札丹飾演的 OSS117
可說是占士邦和電視片集中的情報員史麥特的混合體。 |
