Branded as the "Mister Funk" of the French music scene, Sinclair goes on surfing on the crest of the ‘funky wave'.

Sinclair was born into an extremely musical family in 1971. His father , Dominique Blanc-Francard, is one of the most renowned sound engineers in France while his brother, Hubert , better known to music fans as Boom Bass, is a talented producer and DJ.

Working essentially with guitar and keyboards, but also getting to grips with studio production techniques, Sinclair began inventing his own sound.

The young French musician's principle influence was black American music. He was particularly inspired by the melodies and vocal style of his musical hero Stevie Wonder, as well as the wild guitar solos of the legendary Jimi Hendrix. But Funk was Sinclair's guiding light, whether it was in the form of the 70's groove of Sly Stone or Prince's sensual 80's version.

Released in 1993, his first album “Que justice soit faite!” proved a great success with French audience who quickly picked up on Sinclair's Funk à la française.

By this point Sinclair was one of the fast-rising stars on the French music scene and it came as no surprise to anyone when the talented youngster was hailed as Best Newcomer of 95 at the "Victoires de la Musique" Awards.

Since then, Sinclair has found his own voice, creating an innovative funk sound that is more distinctively French. The melodies are highly rhythmical; an interesting mixes of soul, pop and funk.

On scene, the magic operates, Sinclair and his musicians give everything: singing, dancing, and jumping... on a furious rhythm . An astonishing performance where Sinclair shares with the public his great love for music.
